The facility was seriously damaged.
In the evening of 15 January, attack drones hit an oil depot in Voronezh region of Russia. This was reported by the governor of the region Alexander Gusev, writes ‘Focus’.
At first, Gusev wrote on his Telegram that several drones were destroyed by air defence and electronic warfare means in the suburbs of Voronezh, and there were allegedly no casualties or damage.
However, after videos of a fire at an oil depot started appearing on local public pages, the governor had to admit that there was some ‘destruction’ after all.
‘As a result of the fall of several UAVs in one of the districts of the region, there was a fire on the territory of the oil depot,’ Gusev noted a few hours after the previous report.
He also noted that he was keeping the situation under ‘personal control.’
In one such released video, a woman behind the scenes is outraged by the consequences of UAV strikes.
‘This is something terrifying, altogether,’ the woman says.
Journalists from the Russian Astra publication noted that the drones attacked an oil depot in the town of Liski, which is located 90 kilometres from Voronezh itself.
