Captured Russians Complain About DPRK Soldiers

They have no joint actions, except for combat.

Captured Russian occupants complain that the North Korean military is better prepared for battles in Kursk region compared to Russian contract workers. This was told by senior officer of the communications department of the 80th Independent Airborne Assault Brigade, senior sergeant Petro Gaidashchuk on the air of the Espresso TV channel.

According to Gaidashchuk, the soldiers of his brigade have not yet managed to capture the DPRK military. However, the captured Russians claim that the North Korean military were being trained together with them.

‘What is interesting is that the captured Russians said that the gear, weapons and training of the DPRK military was much better than that of the Russian contract soldiers. According to the captured occupants, the task for the North Koreans was exclusively assault actions, and the Russians were supposed to entrench themselves in case of success at the positions,’ Gaidashchuk said.

He also added that Russian POWs note that the Russian soldiers were being kept separate from the North Korean military during their stay at the training bases.

‘According to the accounts of the Russian POWs, they did not come into contact with them. Firstly, there is a language barrier between them. Secondly, North Koreans' living, eating and what they do was entirely isolated from the Russian occupiers. They had no joint activities, except for combat,’ Gaidushchak noted.
