The daily national record of maximum air temperature was updated in Belarus on 7 January. In Pinsk, the thermometer rose to +9.0 ° C, reports Telegraf.

At night and in the morning, according to the forecast, there will be wet snow, fog, and ice is possible on some parts of the roads. The wind is south-western, moderate, in some places gusty. The air temperature during the day will be from 0 to +5 degrees Celsius.

At night on 9 January, predominantly cool unstable air masses will prevail. In the afternoon, a warm front is expected to move from Poland. Precipitation in the form of snow, sleet and rain is expected in some places at night and in the afternoon in most parts of the territory. Slight ice is expected in some places, on some road sections. Fog is possible in the south in the afternoon. The wind is southerly, gusty. At night, the air temperature will be from 0 to -6 degrees Celsius, while during the day - from -2 to +4 degrees Celsius, up to +7 degrees Celsius in the south.

On 10 January, the system of atmospheric fronts and warm air masses will prevail in Belarus. Cloudy weather is expected, with occasional precipitation in the form of wet snow or rain. At night and in the morning, fog and ice may occur in some areas, the roads will be icy. The wind will be southern, in the afternoon will switch to western, in some places gusty, with up to strong gusts. The air temperature at night will be from -3°C in the north-east to +5°C in the south, during the day it is expected +1...+7°C.

In connection with unfavourable weather conditions, the Ministry of Emergency Situations warned of the possibility of damaging communication and power lines, disrupting power supply, falling trees. Traffic may also be hampered, and the likelihood of road accidents and injuries may increase.
