Aliaksandra Khanevich: Is Their End Coming?

The Belarusian blogger about the authorities' decision.

On 12 February 2025, a court in Baranavichy declared the social media of well-known blogger Aliaksandra Khanevich ‘extremist’, Radio Racyja reports.

Aliaksandra finds this judgement very strange:

- I think their end is coming. I'll be 73 years old in a month, and I don't say anything bad about Belarus in my social networks. I talk about my life in Poland, about my friends. I don't know what they are thinking. At first, when I read that the Baranavichy court recognised me, I was even surprised. Oh my God, I haven't even been to Baranavichy.

The woman doesn't know what to do next with her social media yet:

- I'll think about it some more. After all, I have been in a ‘new status’ for less than a day yet. I see that these ‘extremists’ I know are very good people. The Belarusian authorities only unite us and will do nothing more in this direction.
