Russian Representatives To Negotiate With USA Become Known

The talks will be held in Saudi Arabia.

Kremlin speaker Dmitry Peskov said that Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and Russian dictator Vladimir Putin's chief foreign policy adviser Yuri Ushakov are flying to Riyard, the capital of Saudi Arabia.

This was reported by the Russian RIA Novosti propaganda agency.

Peskov said Lavrov and Ushakov are travelling to Saudi Arabia following Putin's instructions.

He also confirmed that Russian officials will hold talks with US representatives on Tuesday, 18 February.

According to him, the US and Russian delegations will discuss the war in Ukraine, the organisation of a meeting between US President Donald Trump and Putin, as well as the ‘restoration of the entire complex of US-Russian relations’.

The Kremlin spokesman added that Saudi Arabia was chosen for the US-Russian contacts because it ‘suits both sides.’
