Zelensky: Kellogg Will Go To Ukrainian Front

Trump's special envoy will arrive in Ukraine on February 20.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that Donald Trump's special representative for Ukraine and Russia Keith Kellogg will arrive in Kyiv on February 20.

Interfax-Ukraine reports this with a reference to Zelensky's video conversation with journalists.

“We are waiting for Kellogg. We had such an agreement that he would come to us on February 20, it will be two days and maybe more. I want to go with him to the front and he will go with me to the front, I think he will not refuse."

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that he wants Kellogg to personally visit the front and talk to the Ukrainian military.

The head of the Ukrainian state noted that together with Kellogg he will go to meet with the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrsky, as well as with the commanders of several brigades. In addition, he suggested that Trump's representative could hold meetings with Ukrainian intelligence officers and representatives of the Ministry of Defense.

Zelensky noted that it is important to convey to the United States the real situation in Ukraine and the importance of security guarantees.

“I think that after his return to the United States, we will already understand when my meeting with President Trump will take place,” he emphasized.
