Drones Hit Refinery In Syzran

A fire broke out.

On the night of 19 February, unidentified drones attacked the Syzran oil refinery in Samara region. Russians claim that a fire started at the facility.

This is reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to Russian Telegram channels.

In particular, local residents told the Mash channel that at 02:45 local time they heard at least three explosions near the refinery. At the moment there is a fire around the facility. The first shots of the fire have also started to appear in social networks.

Meanwhile, Samara region Governor Vyacheslav Fedorishchev confirmed the information and claims that there were no casualties.

‘Operational and emergency services are working within the territory of the enterprise. According to preliminary information, there are no casualties. There is still a danger of UAV attack in the region,’ he said.
