World's Top Tennis Player Aryna Sabalenka Admits She Almost Never Opens Books

The athlete ‘gets tired after a few pages’.

Subscribers of the world's first racket player Aryna Sabalenka have asked her on Instagram whether she likes to read books.

The answer of the Belarusian tennis player may surprise some people.

‘It's so embarrassing to say that.... I get tired after a few pages. Sometimes, maybe once every couple of years, I start reading a lot, but the enthusiasm quickly ends,' said 26-year-old Sabalenka.

After answering this question, Aryna asked her subscribers to recommend her some book.

Aryna Sabalenka has 2.6 million followers on Instagram. During her career, the current first racket won 18 singles tournaments and earned $31.5 million in prize money (before taxes).

In 2025, she won in Brisbane and reached the final at the Australian Open in Melbourne. But the last two tournaments were unsuccessful, the Belarusian lost in the second round in Doha and in the third round in Dubai.
