American businessman and head of the US Government Effectiveness Department Elon Musk personally responded to reports from the Reuters agency that the White House allegedly threatens Ukraine with disconnection from Starlink satellite communications amid Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky's refusal to conclude a deal on Ukraine's mineral resources.
The billionaire called the information disseminated by journalists fake. He wrote this on X.
"This is not true. Reuters is lying," Musk wrote. According to him, "Reuters is second only to AP in the number of false news stories."
It should be noted that the Reuters article states that the issue of Ukraine's access to Starlink was raised after the Ukrainian authorities rejected the first version of the mineral resources deal. In turn, the Center for Data Protection under the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine expressed confidence that this will not happen, since "there are alternative things on the front."
This is false.
