Some Brands Of Cigarettes To Increase Prices In Belarus

Some of them will go up by 35 kopecks all at once.

Some brands of cigarettes will go up in price in Belarus in March. This is reported on the website of the Ministry of Taxes and Levies.

The Hrodna ‘Nioman’ tobacco factory will raise the price of NZ CHARM Red and NZ CHARM Brown by 35 kopecks in March - from Br4.65 to Br5.

‘Belarustorh’ will increase the cost of all CHAPMAN cigarettes by 10 kopecks - up to Br7.8.

Other importers and manufacturers of cigarettes, judging by the Ministry of Taxes, do not intend to raise the cost of their products next month.

We remind you that since January 2025, the authorities have increased excise tax rates on cigarettes of both the first and second price groups. Thus, for the first they rose from 106.88 to 119.59 rubles (an increase of 11.9%), and for the second - from 155.85 to 163.64 rubles (an increase of 5%).

In 2024, they were raised by 11.8 and 6 per cent respectively.
