Ukrainian intelligence reveals the details.

On the night of February 26, the GUR (Ukrainian Defence Intelligence), together with other units of the Ukrainian Defence Forces, attacked an oil refinery and seaport in the city of Tuapse in the Krasnodar Krai of Russia.

Intelligence sources told RBC-Ukraine about this.

As a result of the attack on the oil refinery, at least 40 explosions were heard, a fire broke out, and oil refining equipment was damaged.

Russian authorities have already acknowledged the attack on Tuapse, while eyewitnesses are publishing photos and videos of the aftermath of the damage on the Internet and claiming that the attack was on the local seaport.

As the sources explained, the complex of damaged objects plays an important role in providing military logistics for the occupation army. At the same time, the oil terminal in Tuapse is one of the largest in Russia, and the port is one of the key cargo ports in the Black Sea. The latter is connected to the railway network, which allows for the transportation of cargo from the central and southern regions of Russia.
