Film About Belarusian Political Prisoner Journalist Released In Poland

The film ‘Under the Grey Sky’ by Belarusian director Mara Tamkovich is being released in Poland. From 28 March it will be available on big screens. Other details about the screenings are still unknown, reports Euroradio.
The film is dedicated to political prisoner journalist Katsiaryna Andreyeva, thrown in jail in Belarus after a stream from the Square of Changes. The journalist of ‘Belsat’ TV channel was tried twice and given a huge sentence of 8 years and 3 months in prison.
Last year the film took part in the Tribeca Film Festival (USA) and also won the award for the best debut film at the Polish Film Festival in Gdynia.
