American singer Dolly Parton, who is known for her country songs, supported Ukraine, UNIAN writes.
During her concert in the USA, the 79-year-old star paused and addressed Ukrainians right from the stage. She sent greetings to "brothers and sisters in Ukraine" and called for prayers for peace.
"Before we start our entertainment, I want to talk about a serious point. I don't want to get involved in politics – I'd rather sell a kidney stone than do that. But I want us to send our love and give hope to our brothers and sisters in Ukraine together. Let's pray for peace in this crazy world," Dolly said.
