The US President has answered the media's questions.
US President Donald Trump has said that in recent days he has managed to make significant progress in the settlement of the Russian-Ukrainian war.
He said this in the White House on Thursday.
‘We've made significant progress with Ukraine, we've made significant progress with Russia over the last few days. And it would be great to bring those two together so we don't have to talk like this, about nuclear weapons,’ Trump said in response to a question from the press.
Continuing to talk about the nuclear threat, he said that ‘it would be great if everybody would get rid of their nuclear weapons’.
‘I know Russia and us have by far the most. China will have an equal amount within 4-5 years. It would be great if we could all de-nuclearize because the power of nuclear weapons is crazy,’ the US president said.
